Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ: FAQ

Are you open for business?

Yes. We are still here to provide you with quality pet care and service. See what our Covid-19 protocols are and how we are keeping you and your home safe.

What Covid-19 protocols are you following?

We take Covid-19 very seriously. Out of respect for you and your home, each meet and greet and visit thereafter will be completed with a mask and clean hands.

What is a Meet and Greet?

A Meet and Greet is an opportunity for your sitter and pet to meet and become acquainted before you go away. House keys are exchanged and your pet's needs and home set-up are discussed.

What areas do you serve?

Our primary service areas are the Downtown Brooklyn area, Kensington, Windsor Terrace, Ditmas Park and Crown Heights. We are always looking to expand our radius, so contact us and we'll be happy to come to your neighborhood.

Do you follow a specific schedule?

Most visits are done twice daily, one in the morning and one in the evening. Morning visits can occur anywhere from 7am-11am and evening visits from 6pm-10pm. Overnight visits are typically 8pm-8am.

My pet has special needs. Can you take care of them?

Yes, of course. Our veterinary background makes us well versed in caring for special needs and our care is tailored to your pet's needs.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept Cash, Check, Money Order, Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, all of your pets are covered by Pet Sitters Associates.

Do you provide updates?

Yes, of course. We can provide daily updates on how your pet is doing. Whether you prefer a text, phone call or e-mail, we will do whatever is most convenient for you.

My pet needs to go to the vet. Can you take them?

Yes. We make vet trips. We will stay with your pet during the appointment or drop off and pick up, whichever is required. We hope it never happens, but in the event of an emergency we will bring your pet to the vet as well.
